One brings logos, one brings the hype,
Two more leakers tumbling through time
Three score busted, ten cast aside
Sorry, couldn't resist. Last night was an interesting one. First a picture leaked with an alleged pamphlet on it, confirming that the next wow expansion is titled Shadowlands. Along with it came a picture of what looks like the new CGI cinematic. And it is filled with new assets. It might look like a modified shot of the Wrath of the Lich King cinematic. And perhaps it is. However. The armor is different, the weapon Bolvar is wielding is different, and the background behind him is different. It has lots of new stuff. And then there are Bolvar's eyes. They are blue. They shouldn't be blue. They should be orange, like the rest of his glowing parts. A strange oversight, don't you think? They produce a screenshot with the same quality of Blizzard's cinematic team, and they forget to recolor the eyes? Come on. The illustration for this blog is a shot from the Wrath of the Bolvar fan trailer. And it has the right eye color. That's not the hard part. Only explanation is, it was left blue intentionally. A faker likely wouldn't leave something like this in, because he would want to hide all evidence of fakeness. Unless there are extreme levels of reverse psychology going on.
This could have been the end of it, but later, something even more interesting happened. We got a logo from the same source that leaked the Diablo Art Book page. The title is, again, Shadowlands. The logo itself is extremely high quality, bright white in color, something fakers probably wouldn't do as shadows tend to be dark, doesn't list fan favorite features just to look credible and includes a concept art of a city in the desert. Now this concept art is very interesting. It looks like Minas Tirith drawn Samurai Jack style. Not something you would add to your fake WoW leak. Also the color schemes of the logo, the concept art, the cinematic screenshot harmonize with the datamined death knight swords, and a recently added store mount.
This is either the most talented leaker (team) ever, or we finally have it. Told you it would be about death.
